N. Scott Parkhill of Audubon Mid-Atlantic presents the findings of his Penn State master’s research into multiscalar habitat selection by wood thrush and discusses the practical implications for mature forest management. Transitioning from researching wood thrush habitat and forest management at Penn State to working as Audubon Mid-Atlantic’s Forest Program Associate, Parkhill will discuss the insights gained from his habitat research and how Audubon applies cutting edge research into their work at the intersection of wildlife and forest management on private lands.
