Back by popular demand! Join Michael Kensinger in the parking lot at Water Street Flea Market for a (hopefully) beautiful saunter on the Lower Trail in search of trillium and other flora. We will walk slowly on an even grade path with occasional benches for resting to stop and listen for birds. Ferns, wildflowers, birds, mammals, and fungi are in no short supply at this location, so bring field guides, cameras, or whatever you feel you may want. Dutchman’s Breeches, Jack-in-the-Pulpit and many others are just a few of the glorious plants to behold here. In the past this was a very enjoyable walk, so we hope to see you there!
WHAT TO BRING: Binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, field guides (if you’d like) and water. We may meet up for lunch afterward. Eatery to be determined.
