Let’s walk along the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River on the Lower Trail to look for spring wildflowers. If our timing is right, the slopes will be covered with red trillium and other spring ephemeral wildflowers such as Dutchman’s breeches and bloodroot in bloom along the trail as we walk for an easy 3 to 4 miles. Bring snacks and water to enjoy along the way. Meet at Water Street Flea Market, RT 22 & Rt 453, Alexandria, Huntingdon County.
