Birding by Kayak at Canoe Creek

You’ve gone birding on foot many times, but now it’s time to paddle Canoe Creek Lake to experience the winged residents of Canoe Creek State Park by kayak! Kayak rentals are $14 per person (plan to pay with cash) for the trip with spots available for approximately 20 participants. Life jackets are also provided with your kayak rental on this trip. It’s a good idea to wear sunblock, sunglasses, and a hat for sun protection and to bring binoculars and water for use inside your kayak—you may want to leave all other non-waterproof items in your vehicle.
