Join Kristin Joivell for a slow walk along the Juniata River until 12 noon. If the weather is nice, we will continue to walk down the trail to see what ferns are growing in the limestone area. We will be walking slowly on an easy-grade, wide trail about a mile or two. We should see hundreds of Red Trillium (T. erectum) and maybe a few yellow variants as well as dozens of other species in bloom.
What to bring: water and anything else you feel you might want
Address: Meet at the parking lot in front of the Flea Market at Water Street: 4598 William Penn Highway, Alexandria, PA
