About 6 miles of moderately challenging hiking
Hike near Raystown Lake on the Old Loggers Trail to see stream-side sections, the Lake, and hilltop areas, while hiking through a wide range of vegetation and habitat. You will be able to observe that much of the area is managed for grouse habitat in conjunction with the Ruffed Grouse Society. Sheep Rock Spur passes one of the best scenic overlooks of Raystown Lake. We will meet at the trailhead parking lot on Baker’s Hollow Road which services BOTH the Old Logger’s Trail and the Allegrippis Trail System.
