Let’s explore Bald Eagle State Park to look for migrating waterfowl, hawks and more. The 5,900-acre Bald Eagle State Park is in the broad Bald Eagle Valley in Centre County. It includes a lake along Bald Eagle Mountain which is surrounded by forests, fields and wetlands. We’ll stop at several places within the park and may walk some of the trails. We’ll finish by driving to Sayer’s dam and take a short walk on an old road to Hunter’s Run Cove.  Walking will mostly be on flat, mowed trails or old roads.

What to bring: binoculars, spotting scope (optional), drinks, and snacks.
