Meet near Pavilion #2 in big parking lot (where we meet for the JVAS picnic).
This one is for the night owls who don’t like to get up early! Please join us for a nice meander around Canoe Creek State Park where we will observe waterfowl and other birds from the edge of the lake, and possibly, marsh trail.
WHAT TO BRING: binoculars, camera, comfortable walking shoes, drink, or snack if desired. JVAS will provide a spotting scope, but you are welcome to bring your own.
If you have any questions or need more information, please contact JVAS Field Trip Chair Michael Kensinger at (814) 505-3410 or email him at [email protected]. If inclement weather arrives this day, please contact Michael to verify that this event is still taking place for the sake of everyone’s safety and well-being. Field Trip Chair reserves the right to cancel at the last minute should unexpected dangerous weather patterns occur. We hope to see you there!!!!
