Join Angie Spagnoli, Michael Kensinger and John Carter on a late-summer bird and nature walk on the Ray Amato Trail. We will stroll a little over a mile of this loop trail, which is mostly flat, and learn about the research project Angie is currently doing with introducing native plant species and removing invasive plant species to support more prey availability for birds. We will also learn about the Condo for Critters project Michael introduced to the wetland trail and the success of new resident Eastern Bluebirds, Tree Swallows and House Wrens nesting in the bird boxes placed this year.
What to bring: binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, drink, and snack as desired.
