Looking for spring wildflowers? Then come to the Lower Trail for the annual Trillium Walk! If we time it right, we might be able to see the plentiful trilliums, Dutchman’s breeches, and bloodroots in bloom along the trail as we walk for an easy three to four miles. Meet at the Water Street Parking Area to begin the walk at 9:00 am. Bring snacks to eat along the way as you discover the majesty of the spring wildflowers with botanist Joe Metzger, director of the Maryland Native Plant Society and author of the Maryland Plant Checklist.
